Rental
Our Spaces
The Clubhouse offers two performance spaces for rent. The Downstairs Theater is wheelchair accessible, seats up to 70, and features raked seating, a basic lighting setup (including a disco ball and center special), a sound system with DI input for up to four mics or instruments, and a projector. It’s ideal for larger performances, classes, recordings, and filming. The Upstairs Theater is a smaller black-box space seating 35–40, with similar tech (minus the disco ball) and a green screen wall, best suited for solo shows, small groups, rehearsals, and content creation. Renters must provide their own mics and stands, and one-off shows require a Clubhouse technician. All shows must be free unless approved as fundraisers; donations are allowed.
Downstairs
Our Downstairs theater is wheelchair accessible and seats up to 70 people. It features two wings with doors that lead behind them, and a functioning barn door window. Raked seating and no pillar make for better views all around. We have a basic lighting setup that includes a basic wash, reds and blues, a center special for stand-up or just dramatic effect, and a disco ball. On stage is a DI (or direct input) that supports 4 microphones or instruments and connects to the sound system in the lighting booth. We have a projector that can be hooked up to a computer at the lighting booth as well. There is a double door in the rear of the theater that helps with soundproofing, as well as a side door for emergencies and an additional exit. This space works well for improv or stand-up, larger group performances, clowning, classes with up to 14 people, staged readings and podcast recordings. You can also rent the space as a shooting location or event venue for different hourly rates. The Clubhouse does not provide mics, mic stands, or keyboards. We used to but found they all got stolen. You are responsible for providing those items. If you need something else like a fog machine or special light that you intend to use, please discuss it with the Clubhouse first. If you are doing a one off show you would also be responsible for hiring a technician from the Clubhouse to run your lights and sound. All shows at the Clubhouse are free, and unless it is a fundraiser and has been approved you may not charge for tickets. Donations as well as suggested donations are allowed.
Upstairs
The Upstairs theater is the smaller of our two spaces seating 35-40 with a more black-box theater feel. The same simple lighting (minus disco ball) is available upstairs, as well as an onstage DI for mics and instruments, a sound system that runs from the tech desk, and a projector. This space is ideal for storytelling, stand-up, one person shows, smaller improv and sketch teams, and classes and rehearsals that do not require a ton of space. Many people have used it to work out their material, rehearse with smaller groups and to shoot content. One wall is also chroma-green for your use as a green screen. This space is NOT accessible, so please refer to the downstairs space if you are looking for an accessible space.
